The competitions
✔ Individual competition:
This proceeds as on the regular official competitions and according to these same rules.
✔ Team competition:
Each team consists of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 dogs. These may belong to the same handler. Each team may consist of dogs & handlers from the same or different dog schools. The dogs run with the same handler in the team competition as in the individual competition.
Only the best 2 results per will count if one has a team of 3 dogs. The judging of each course is done as at regular official competitions and according to these same rules.
If there are people who do not have a team, they may run this course. However, they will not be able to win a prize in the team competition.
NEW:
To keep things fair between the different levels, we have split the team competition from this edition onwards.
H0 & H1 dogs can form a team together and H2 & H3 dogs can form a team together.
They will then be given different courses to run.
✔ Best dog school:
This is not a separate competition, but an additional trophy to be won.
This part will only take place if there are at least 4 schools with at least 4 participating dogs each.
For each dog school, all clear courses will be added up, then divided by the number of courses run. If necessary for ex aequos, the same process is repeated with the number of courses with 1 fault.
✔ Beste of the best:
To win this trophy, we look at who has the best score over the 3 courses and across all grades.
Generalities:
✔ The first course outweighs the second.
The individual course outweighs the team course.
This means: the order of importance for the best club & best of the best:
Ind 1 – Ind 2 – Team
If there are ex aequos within the ‘podium places’, a barrage course will be run.
✔ The rules of the KKUSH-VdA (FCI) will be observed when judging each course.
✔ No points cards, vet books and socialisation tests will be requested as this is not an official competition. However, we do ask that everyone be honest enough to register themselves in the correct category, this also applies to participants who normally participate in hooper competitions at another federations.
✔ Bitches in heat may participate. Please notify us in advance so that we can adjust the running order.
✔ Any registered dog may run all 3 courses, even if they have not found a team to participate with so they can compete for the trophy of ‘best of the best’.
Please transfer the registration fee of €15 to BE98 1030 3469 9493 at the same time as registering, stating: WHC + name of dog + name of handler.
